Matters Arising

·         BKA match form Liv to download

·         New posts have all arrived Liv to contact PB NKA to return ASAP

·         CUKC have given no offers of help for school korfball as yet.

·         Venue for inter Area match 25/1/03 still unknown Liv to contact Kent

·         Liv to sort fixtures for BKA Youth cup U9s on 11.1.03

·         BKA Youth Cup U11s did not play due to Simon's illness

·         Knights CKA league home matches 9.30-10.30 am Sun ams Tigers 4 vs Knights match is being rearranged

·         Still waiting for quotes for cones Liz to contact Andy

·         Citysport Jan 12th, 19th, 26th Feb 2nd & 9th Liv to contact Rick for more info and to deliver fliers to schools Liz to send email to Liv of no of fliers needed

·         Liz to contact Andy re City registrations for Youth Cup

·         No response as yet to suggestion of new league with Norwich, Nottingham, Milton Keynes and Cambridge

·         Sunday 29th April booked for Ritola visit

Volunteers

·         A suggestion has been made for volunteer rota to be changed to a 2 week cycle with 3 players from clubs A B C (1 from each club 3 in total) on week 1 and then 3 from clubs DEF on week 2 then continued on a 2 week cycle. Liv to gauge opinion from clubs and review next meeting.

Training Fees

·         Leave as they are but strongly encourage termly payments Liz to prepare letter for payments next term.

·         Need to have a better record of cash in/out and attendance at training agreed to have a register for each section with attendance and payments recorded. All coaches to be responsible for the upkeep of their own section.

·         Any expenses need to be invoiced to CKA (Liz) rather than just taken from cash income so that clear income/expenditure of Knights can be maintained. Coaches to make record of £2 recruitment and chocolate incentives.

Training

·         Aim to instil club discipline and commitment - coaches to remind group of need for correct kit and removal of jewellery for training and games, also to develop whole team ethos when supporting matches.

Consent Forms

·         All forms need to be completed before U16s can play in the league Reda to check with Sijbren

Child Protection

·         Reda gave feedback on child protection course and has certificate for completion

·         all to look for courses for child protection

·         handbook passed to Simon

·         Reda to produce child protection sheets for all volunteers

Future Development

·         'Junior Development Document' drawn up by Liv was shared, Liv to attend Cambridge Secondary Schools Sports Association meeting to gauge support and develop links between schools and korfball. Liv to redraft report and circulate for future discussion.

AOB

·         CKA have agreed that Knights can have more than 4 subs in league matches for this year only. Subs 5+ will not have goals recorded on stat list
